Aleece McKnight was born and raised in Memphis, TN. She received her undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University and received her juris doctorate from Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University. After graduation, Aleece clerked for Chancellor Walter Evans at Chancery Court in Memphis, TN. She’s worked as a criminal defense attorney, family law attorney, Guardian ad Litem, E-Discovery attorney, bankruptcy attorney, entertainment attorney, personal injury attorney, and is currently the owner of the Law Office of Aleece McKnight providing entrepreneurship, intellectual property, and personal injury legal services. She was awarded a Top 3 Finalist for Best Attorney in the Ruthie Awards and was a Young Professional Nominee for the Rutherford Cable Athena Awards. She is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. where she’s involved in several capacities. She enjoys experiencing different cultures through travel, enjoying memorable moments with family and friends, and snorkeling.
