Anthony Adewumi

Anthony Adewumi specializes in entertainment and intellectual property law. He currently serves as in-house counsel for Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI), where he focuses on copyright infringement matters and the enforcement of music licenses for public performances. With a strong background in both domestic and international legal frameworks, Anthony brings a nuanced understanding of the evolving landscape of music rights.

Anthony holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Commercial Law from the University of Aberdeen, earned in 2015, and a Juris Doctor from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis, completed in 2014. He began his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Middle Tennessee State University in 2011.

Outside of work, Anthony enjoys quality time with his family, curating Hip-Hop and R&B playlists, and passionately supporting his favorite sports teams—the Dallas Cowboys and the Memphis Grizzlies.
