Napier-Looby Scholarship
& Awards Ceremony

On behalf of the Napier-Looby Bar Foundation (“NLBF”), I am pleased to invite you to our 17th Annual Barristers’ Banquet and Awards Program which will take place on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 14Tenn, 1410 51st Avenue North, Nashville, TN 37209.  The NLBF is a 501(c)(3) organization which serves as the philanthropic arm of the Napier-Looby Bar Association, an affiliate of the National Bar Association, the nation’s oldest and largest national and international network of predominantly African-American attorneys and judges.

The Nashville business community convenes typically yearly at the Barristers’ Banquet and Awards Program in the spirit of celebration and giving. In addition to celebrating Black History Month, the purpose of the banquet is to recognize outstanding achievements in the legal community. More importantly, the Napier-Looby Bar Foundation seeks contributions in the quest to award scholarships to deserving law school students and to fund the charitable efforts of the organization throughout the year.

This year’s ceremony promises to be a memorable and inspiring occasion. Our reception will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the program to follow at 7:00 p.m. We anticipate members of the Nashville Bar, the local judiciary, elected officials and a broad cross section of our Nashville community leaders and fellow citizens.In order to ensure the success of this event, we sincerely seek your support.
